Sometimes (Microsoft Windows )computers need a little monthly cleaning. There are ways to do it fore each browser, but that takes time.
THE SOLUTION IS SIMPLE... CCleaner.

IT Will cleanup those traces and gain back drive space (not huge, but some).
BIG NOTE-- Personally I would trust it to clean up the Cache, Temp, and Cookies as well as the backup files.
DO NOT USE THE REGISTRY CLEANER PART UNLESS YOU ARE EXPERIENCED USER, AND THEN ONLY DELETE EACH REGISTRY KEY ONE AT A TIME THROUGH VERIFYING WHAT YOU ARE REMOVING.
The reason and timeline I would suggest doing this usually monthly.
Once you have are more experienced then you can use it to remove unnecessary restore points or to stop programs from starting up with the computer.
The big plus for this -- it will also help if you do it before you defragment your hard drive.
